In search of new places to work and perhaps more importantly: coffee, I found distrikt coffee in Berlin via foursquare. All the reviews mentioned great coffee and brunch so I decided to head out and refuel.
The coffee was spot on but after I'd glanced at the menu I really fancied a bite to eat too. Although there were no specific gluten-free options, there were plenty of dishes with gluten-free ingredients and optional extras like: poached eggs and avocado.
In the end the staff suggested the beetroot and avocado (without toast) and a couple of poached eggs on top. Honestly, I think they should just add that dish to the menu; it was absolutely delicious! The entire plate was clean within minutes.
Full credit to the staff for helping out, definitely one to check out if you're in need of brunch in Mitte. Excellent coffee too.
