I usually use google and foursquare to try and find new gluten-free places when I arrive in a new place. For Free! The gluten-free bakery in Budapest, it just wasn't listed anywhere! Luckily a friend just happened to walk past it on the way to a juice bar.
I'm so glad I found it though! Hopefully this post will raise the profile a bit. It's such a great spot, and entirely 100% gluten-free.
The first time I walked in I wanted to order everything, in the end I opted for the Cheese and leek pie with a cup of soup:
Absolutely delicious, the pie crust was flaky without completely falling to pieces; the soup was a good mix too spicy and refreshing.
I loved the food here so much I went back a couple of times, the second time I tried a slice of the pizza which, and I don't say this lightly: was the best gluten-free pizza crust I've ever had.
Definitely check it out if you're around, they also have another location over on the Buda side of the city!
