I'd heard about Mamma Mia's from a friend who's also Coeliac who said there were plenty of dinner options that were naturally gluten-free.
Being close to the sea I had a hankering for some seafood so opted for the fillet of Sea Bass in a Mediterranean sauce. I double checked with the waiter about the dish being gluten-free and they were more than helpful.
The sea bass just melt in the mouth, just so fresh and tasty, complimented perfectly by the sauce and slices of grilled polenta.
All washed down with a glass of the house white wine too. A particular favourite of our group!
A friend ordered the John Dory with a side of grilled vegetables, the grilled veg alone could have been a small meal. Just simple fresh ingredients cooked really really well. Ideal after a long day exploring Old Town.
Luckily for me the restaurant was just up the road from where I was staying in Zadar, if you're closer to Old Town then it's a short taxi ride away that's totally worth it for a great gluten-free meal.
